Celebration of Light !!!

Here's a fantastic part of summer in Vancouver... lots of fireworks! I'm totally mesmerized by the flashing lights and big booms, and I love that thousands of people take the time to stop and enjoy. Wow, English Bay was PACKED! It was fantastic.

I was travelling light that night (no pun intended). However, I still had my camera, my fav 50mm lens and a knee to balance... here's a few from Saturday's light show...

Sunset Glory

I seem to spend a lot of time on the ferry. This summer I am saturated in photography - working in Vancouver during the week, and on the weekends, I'm at weddings on Vancouver Island. Best of both worlds! City & Country.

So, you see, I have been spending a lot of time on the ferry, and this weekend's trip home was a glorious summer evening. What a sunset! It rivals the sunsets from the flatlands, and it makes this prairie girl's heart happy.

Have a looksie

Well, yes, way behind on the blogging! I have been filling my time with photos of other sorts... I've started a new job that is bringing in inspiration from all sorts of places. Needless to say, it takes quite a bit of my time these days. I think I am beginning to adjust to my new schedule, and so here is a quick look at a June wedding this year...
