While I was taking (sneaky) photos of the couple, Ralph and Caroline were entertained by their dear friends who were travelling with them. 

A great moment is even better when shared with loved ones.

It was a gorgeous Sunday in April - why not get married?

Especially if you're on holiday from the UK... that's what Caroline & Ralph did.

I was so lucky to be one of the few people sharing the quiet ceremony at the Four Season Hotel Vancouver with this happy couple.

The ceremony was immediately followed with a champagne celebration and a phone call to London!

So sad. Devon Clifford 1979 - 2010.

Last Friday started as a fabulous night - photographing one of my favourite bands for Discorder - You Say Party! We Say Die! - seeing them for the first time... the beginning of the set was awesome.
I was in the middle of a shot when everything stopped.

It was surreal.

The drummer collapsed - an ambulance was called - he left on a stretcher.
We hoped for the best.

Devon Clifford passed away on Sunday morning.
My heart goes out to his family and friends.

Shanghai Sisters

I was out and about today in the glorious spring sunshine, partly to enjoy a good bike ride and partly keeping my eyes peeled for some new photo spots.
Needless to say, I got a bit lost, and ended up on a bridge at the northern end of Main Street by the Port Authority in Vancouver... and there they were.

They inscription said that they were a gift from the Sister Port city of Shanghai.
Well then, Thank You.
