Caribou at the Rickshaw Theatre

What a show.
If you weren't there, you may be quite disappointed that you missed it, and, sorry to say, you should be.
A stellar performance and awesome music.

It was a sold out show and I was there for Discorder Magazine.  I love the perks of photography!

Sprout is bored. Sprout finds string.

I'm finding that when Sprout gets bored, I get entertained.  She finds interesting things to pull out and show you, just to make sure you know she's there... and bored.

It's so cute that my camera is always near by!

Language-Arts and Olenka & the Autumn Lovers

On a Tuesday in May, I made my way over to Cafe Deux Soleils on the Drive to hear Vancouver's Language Arts followed by Olenka & the Autumn Lovers from Ontario.
So lovely.
Language Arts

Olenka & the Autumn Lovers had van issues earlier in the tour so the acoustic part of the band performed for us.

High Tea

Lovely ladies in dresses, hats and heels... High Tea at the Roedde House Museum in Vancouver in honour of the Bride-to-be... Sunshine on a May afternoon... music on the piano... the most scrumptious dainties and nibbles with tea.

Fabulous.

Sprout

I am learning the joys of having a new puppy in the house.
#1 - Cuteness abounds.
#2 - Keep interesting things that are good to chew high up on shelves, counters, etc.

Luckily, my dog Laney taught me #1 & #2, but littl' Sprout is adding new things on the #2 list.

Like the door stop...

Happy 1st Anniversary Brad & Ang!

Last year I spent the day photographing Brad & Ang's wedding.
Only one word really describes them - FUNThose two were having a laugh the whole time, yet so happy to be exactly where they were.

Needless to say, I had a fabulous day!

Here's some highlights that bring a smile to my face.

I hope you've had a great year, and all the best in years to come!

In the Rehearsal with Vancouver Peace Choir

Surrounded by beautiful spring sunshine and gorgeous music, I photographed the rehearsal of the Vancouver Peace Choir at UBC's Chapel of the Epiphany.  Director Timothy Corlis warmed up for the choir for their Sanctuary of Song concert as I ran in and out of the choir and to the balcony and back again.

Heavenly.
