Shoelace

The most fascinating thing is not Mom & Dad calling her name, or jumping around and waving keys.  No, it's a shoelace.

However, these were awesome shoes so it's understandable.

Thanks for a fun session, Callie!

Green Grass... with Acrobatics

The pink dress, the green grass, the blue eyes... so sweet.

Then the acrobatics... it took us a while to figure it out.

She doesn't like the feeling of the grass on her foot.

Oh my... when I was editing these, I laughed so hard that I cried.
I just love it.

Callie

She's a blue-eyed sweetheart.

Given beautiful weather, I met Callie & her parents at Granville Island for some play.  Callie is starting to crawl so I didn't have to run around too much to keep up!  However, there are many distractions at Granville Island, and it all three of us were talking, laughing and jumping to keep her attention.

And she loved every minute of it.

Here's a few to start... more images to follow...

Foodie at heart.

I can't help it.  I love good food.  Especially chocolate.  And cheese.
And photographing it is (almost as) great.

Here's a few samples from the GeoEye Partners Conference last week at the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver.  I love the food there.  It's divine.

So many to choose from!  I just tried them all...

Okay, I may have sampled a few of those chocolates... Grand Marnier in there!

Oh my I'm so hungry now...

Photobooth! Photobooth!

Oh my... so fun!

GeoEye Imagery held their annual conference at the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver this year, and I was there to capture the fun at their opening reception.  With costumes and a background from Rare Indigo, we set up this photobooth.  It took some time for folks to get into it, but all of a sudden they couldn't get enough!

Thanks to Janos for assisting me on this!

More of Jess & John's E-session... part III

A quick wardrobe change, and we continued our way down towards the water.  The rain stayed away long enough for us to finish our session and fit in a few more laughs and sweet moments caught on camera.

Luckily we avoided any major injuries... I think.
Thanks also to my wonderful assistant Ken.

Jess & John's E-session... part II

I'm so honoured and excited to be working with John & Jess this summer for their wedding.  They are such sincere, caring and lovely people, and not to mention, great hosts!  It's going to be quite the party.

Their wedding is only 6 weeks away, and I'm happy we were able to squeeze in this little E-session to have some fun.
There was no problem finding something to laugh at (corndogs were conveniently provided) and the smiles hardly ever left their faces!

The Manhattan

I've been itching to photograph by this building ever since I stumbled upon it one afternoon in downtown Vancouver.  It was a perfect backdrop for this year's first engagement session!

They look amazing!
And that dress...
