Sarah Holmes is a live wire - full of life and big laughs, and she's able to create beautiful and interesting pieces like these. I was lucky to be able to photograph them... actually, I think it was the easy part! Creating these pieces seems so complicated to me, but not to Sarah. She just works her magic. ;-)

You're right, creating jewellery is complicated. Here in Calgary, I've seen someone produce a personalized set of earrings from start to finish, and it was laborious. Putting details is one of the hardest parts. However, when it comes to custom jewellery, Calgary shops make it looks easy. Maybe that's why authentic jewellery don't come cheap.
