Jillian & Derek - Reception

On to the Reception!  
Jillian's older brothers led an evening filled with laughs (many at their own expense) and Jillian's family put together a song about the couple that was one of highlights of the night. 

I love how Jillian can keep such a straight face doing such funny things...

No shortage of up-and-coming photographers at the wedding!

Beautiful first dance...

The evening ended with a very-prairie dance that had all ages on the dance floor!

Jillian & Derek - Friends on the Farm

You would think that Swift Current, Saskatchewan would have rolling tumbleweeds and dust clouds everywhere - not this year!  There have been record rainfalls - "might as well live in Vancouver" someone said to me.  


As a (typical?) farmer, Derek checked the forecast and there was a chance of showers between 3 and 6pm that day - right when we were scheduled to have the photos created!  We had a fabulous time with umbrellas at the ready, storm clouds brewing and great attitudes, even when the sky dripped down on us.
