Happy Anniversary!

It was a glorious May morning last year when Laura & Galen were married on Goose Spit in Comox, BC. It was a small, intimate ceremony, ending with one of the best send-offs I've seen so far - a plane!

I hope your year has been as wonderful as your wedding!

More Summer Festival Lovin'

The Big Time Out - a 3 day music festival in Cumberland, BC was a summer highlight last August. One stage and lots of musical variety.

Watch for the release of this year's lineup...

Catching Up

I must say that it's rather lovely to catch up with a friend that I haven't seen in a while. This weekend I spent a few hours in a small town cafe with Kelsey, one of my classmates from photography school.

It's reminded me of some of my work from then - and specifically some of the work I did for the fine art section of my final portfolio project. So I'm excited to share a bit of it here!

Here comes the Sun

I am definitely a sunny weather girl.

I'm getting rather excited for the May long weekend... it's supposed to get good and hot here in BC!!!! That means time for the beach. It's been raining and I'm not a rainy day person if it's already been raining for days. However, I realize that the rain makes the flowers and trees happy, especially with sunshine as a chaser, so I can smile under my umbrella.

Here's to you, flowers! ;-)

Cheers,
Marlis
